Live Parrots
Three talented parrots from Fine Feathered Friends Sanctuary will attend.  Learn about parrots and the importance of taking good care of your pets.  Get your picture taken with a really big bird. 

Arts and Crafts
Deck out a paper parrot in glitter, sequins, rhinestones and feathers.  Wow!

Snacks
Enjoy juice and parrot cookies.

Billy and Emma by Alice Mead and Christy Hale

Two macaws share an exciting adventure.  Billy and Emma are best friends.  Their zoo mates include an owl named Harold and a crow, Nancy.  The macaws put on shows for zoo visitors.  Wearing his fireman's hat, Billy climbs a ladder to ring a bell, and Emma plays a tiny piano.  Then one night, when all the birds are sleeping except Harold, a robber takes Emma from her cage.  Billy is sad and can no longer perform.  With Nancy's help, he sets out to find Emma.
